Job Description

The role of the Business Development Executive is to acquire, retain and expand relationships with Brokers, Business Introducers, Investors and Fund Managers. You will maximize profitably by identifying the customerโ€™s technology needs first and then recommend the appropriate Alpha solution. You will provide dedicated relationship management with accountability for business development.

Required Qualifications

Responsibilities:

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Evaluate and develop existing and new business opportunities through a consultative selling approach.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Build strong relationships, internally and externally, to ensure the overall success of new sales.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Manage the entire sales cycle beginning with prospecting and cold-calling targeted prospective clients, seeing prospects through a buying decision, and then continuing to manage client relations after the sale, in order to cultivate long-term relationships.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Record the whole sales process in the company CRM.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Attend trade shows and client visits, domestically and abroad, as necessary.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Keep Sales Manager informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have;

ยทย  2 + years of previous experience in Business Development and strong knowledge of the forex industry is essential.

ยทย  Past working experience in relevant role i.e. Relationship management, financial technology, dealing desk.

ยทย  Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.

ยทย  Experience of making prompt and practical business decision, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes.

ยทย  A comprehensive understanding of technology and relationship management.

ยทย  Solid experience in working with Forex IBโ€™s (for example from a Forex broker, IB/Partner department) is highly desirable.

ยทย  Background from a dealing desk and understanding of PAMM, MAM and MT4 Manager etc is a big plus.

ยทย  Good and active portfolio of Fund Manager is also a plus.

ยทย  B2B Technology Sales experience is a plus.

ยทย  Existing network in the Forex Industry is a plus.

ยทย  Past working experience in relevant role i.e. Relationship management, financial technology, partners department.

ยทย  Additional languages are a big plus.
