Responsabilities:
• You further develop the administration-software of a firewall with Clojure under Linux. This modular system
Controls the configuration- and status data of the operating system and diverse network services.
• Your main responsibility is the independent specification, implementation and test of new modules in order
To integrate additional services into the firewall.
• You oversee these modules in the long run and are point of contact for the 3rd Level Support. Our specialized
Developers support you in the areas “Network” and “Software-Test”.
• Further tasks involve code reviews for quality assurance and the active participation in designing our firewall
Architecture.

Qualifications:
• You successfully and independently use diverse programming languages, ranging from imperative to functional.
You see yourself as an excellent Software Developer who always strives to optimize his skills.
• You want to learn new programming languages and concepts.
• Ideally, you are fluent in Clojure or in another Lisp dialect.
• You know fundamental data structures and algorithms.
• You can administrate a Linux System without graphic wizards.
• You are familiar with Network technologies like IP and Firewalls.
• Ideally, you work confidently with C++ and Python.
• You are a team player and you work in an analytical and structured manner.
• We are seeking both German and English speakers (with a motivation to learn German).
