CareerFinders, on behalf our client, an established provider of Data-Driven technology solutions to clients from various industry sectors, we are seeking to recruit a technically strong and experienced Software Engineer to join their expanding team of professionals based in Limassol. The successful applicant should have a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience, based on the requirements listed below.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Developing Code for our products and services.
- Contribution to other software engineering tasks, such as In-Depth Analysis, Specifications, Design (Requirements, Functional & Technical Specifications) and development of innovative technological and business solutions.
- Contribution to project planning including research and development.
- Collaboration with external teams (clients, partners, collaborators).
Key Skills/Experience:
- B.Sc in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or similar.
- Proven work experience (at least 2 years) as a software engineer in a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming and Django Rest Framework.
- Knowledge of and experience in relational and of non-relational databases.
- Native Greek and Excellent use of English in verbal and written form.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- Ability to operate comfortably in both the business and technical arenas.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, React, and HTML technologies will be considered an advantage.
- Experience with TypeScript programming, Node.JS and its related MVC Frameworks will be considered an advantage.
- Experience with SOA and RESTful web service design, implementation and maintenance will be considered an advantage.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Elasticsearch) will be considered an advantage.
- Experience with mobile application development.
- Past collaborations within R&D engineering teams.
- Contribution in open-source projects.
