Our Client a newly incorporated Company that is in the process of applying for a license for the cultivation and production of medical Cannabis. The client is looking for a Senior Manager / QA Ofiicer for Medicinal Cannabis to be stationed in Limassol.
General information:
In a few words they need 2 people who have at least 5 years of experience in the cultivation and production of medicinal cannabis in the worldwide market. These 2 people will be given with “key positions” in a newly incorporated company for the purpose of applying for a license for the cultivation and production of medical cannabis. The following positions are the “key positions”: member(s) of the board of directors, senior manager, supervisor, alternate supervisor , quality assurance officer.
They are waiting for the tender to be published by the government to get going with the application, but in order to even apply, they need these 2 people.
Responsibilities:
The senior manager/supervisor will have the following responsibilities:
managing the activities which are being carried out by the company/licensed producer in his licensed premises.
The supervisor will be assigned with the work at the premises of the licensed producer, and will have the responsibility of overseeing the activities, in relation to the cannabis, that will be carried out from the licensed producer/company at the premises and ensure compliance of those activities with the provisions of the law.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in the cultivation and production of medicinal cannabis in the worldwide market; and
Need to be agronomists or biologists or pharmacists or chemists or hold diplomas of other specialties of a related subject by an institution of higher education recognized by the Cyprus Council of Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KYSATS);
And knowledge of the provisions of the law and the regulations, as well as the provisions of the Medicines for Human Use (Quality Control, Supply and Price) Law, concerning the license granted to the licensed producer, who indicates to them/ draws their attention to these; and White criminal records.
Remuneration:
Salary will be based on years of experience and seniority
