CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Retail Company, we are seeking to recruit a suitably well-qualified and knowledgeable Brandmark Licencing Specialist to join their expanding team of professionals based in Nicosia. The successful applicant should have previous, relevant and demonstrable experience and be able to travel internationally on a regular basis.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervising copyrights at each stage by the licensees.
- Analysis of the competition operation regarding licenses for the brandmarks.
- Maintenance, updating and development of the licences portfolio.
- Ensure contact and communication with the licensees all over the world.
- Cooperation and communication with the marketing departments of the licensees in the scope of using and exercising the copyrights to the brand marks; approval of the main campaigns.
- Support for the company in and whole process of obtaining the licensees, exercising copyrights, detecting violations.
- Supervising business trips to the states of the licensees.
- Support in the negotiations with the licensees.
- Management of the documents either internal as well as external (with the contractors) circulation.
- Preparation of the reports, analysis, presentations regarding potential licensees.
- Communication with licensees and solving the various tasks across all licences.
- Preparation, commissioning and timely use and delivery of materials necessary for the company's image.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Business, Marketing, Law or any other relevant subject.
- Honest, conscientious, independent, responsible, decisive, with good stress and stress tolerance, precise.
- Creativity, communicative skills and assertiveness; positive attitude.
- Readiness to travel on occasional/cyclic (e.g. once a month/quarter) basis dependent on needs.
- Excellent planning and coordination skills.
- Experience with licences and the licensees market.
- Interest in fashion and up-to-date trends.
- Excellent command in English, knowledge of Polish or any other European language will be considered a significant advantage.
- Basic knowledge of European regulations relating to copyrights.
